Pensioner Hearing Services

If you are not sure whether you are eligible to be treated under the Federal Government's hearing Service Program (HSP), we encourage you to come into the clinic with your pensioner card and our reception staff can make an enquiry in the HSP online portal and let you know in a matter of minutes.

If you are then we can make an appointment then and there for a full comprehensive hearing test where you will be explained in the consultation of the test results and steps that happen from then. If your hearing loss has been identified where you meet minimum criteria to be fitted under the program you have the right to receive Fully Subsidised Basic technology hearing aids where the price of the hearing aids are free. 

Many clients feel they want a higher level of technology that have more advanced features to help them work significantly better in more complex situations or feel they need rechargeable hearing aids as their dexterity would not allow them to change hearing aid batteries. This will be a discussion in the consultation and you make the decision which is best for you with your lifestyle and financial situation.

We offer a variety of assistive listening devices to help you hear better in difficult listening environments, such as noisy restaurants or group conversations. Our team will work with you to find the right solution for your needs. These ALD's are not free under the Hearing Services program and would require an out of pocket expense on the clients part.
