In 1967, William F. "Bill" Austin started a small hearing aid repair store after dropping out of medical school. In 1970, he purchased an ear mold company called Starkey Labs for $13,000. Starkey is now one of the "BIG 5" Hearing Aid manufacturers in the world and the ONLY 100% privately owned major hearing Aid Manufacturer (Not a publicly traded company).

The industry’s first and only on-demand, DNN-powered sound analyzer can now move with patients. Now, when patients activate Edge Mode+, it will continue to scan, adapt and optimize as the acoustic environment changes.

With Bluetooth connectivity you can audio stream from both iPhones and select Android phones. This includes streaming your phone calls, video media and music. Evolv AI 2400 BTE are the top of the line models in this style. This gives them the best noise reduction and listening comfort in background noise. They also feature Edge Mode where a double tap of the hearing aids further reduce competing noise.

Starkey Genesis Hearing Devices currently come in three technology levels from: 

16Ai (Basic Level) best suited for people that live a more sedentary lifestyle and do not converse with multiple speakers at once or in presence of background noise. 

20Ai (Advanced) Much better for understanding speech in more complex environments than the 16 model. 

24Ai (Premium or top of the line) Best suited to enjoy superior speech understanding in complex or noisy environments such as Restaurants and moderate to large social situations
